A number of concrete barriers dangerously fell off a truck along the Coast Road, ending up smashed on the road.

The barriers were being transported by a heavy vehicle, heading towards the direction of St Julian’s.

Police told Lovin Malta that the incident occurred at around 9.05am, with the spokesperson confirming that no one was injured. 

Transport Malta officials and traffic police are currently on site to control traffic while the area is being cleaned.

It is unclear what caused the barriers to fall onto the road.
