Construction Truck Accidentally Pulls Down Light Pole Near Mrieħel Worksite
A ready-mix concrete truck accidentally pulled down a public light pole near its work site in Mrieħel.
The incident, which happened at around 11.15am in Triq l-Imrieħel, fortunately left no one injured, TVM reported – though the pole itself suffered extensive damage.
Enemalta workers were called to the scene to ensure that there was no risk of danger due to the pole’s electrical wiring.
Parts of the road had to be closed while the accident was tended to and debris removed before vehicles were allowed to pass through the area again.
