A male construction worker lost his life today after falling around two stories while working on a site in Triq San Pietru in Mġarr at around 14:45 today.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was certified dead on the scene. It is as yet unknown what led to his death. 

A magisterial inquiry is underway.
