A dead man was discovered earlier this morning off the coast of Bugibba, police have confirmed with Lovin Malta.

The body was spotted earlier nearby the breakwater at 8.45am. Police are yet to officially confirm the person’s gender or identity.

Police believe the death to be a suicide but investigations are still underway.
