Diver In Critical Condition After Encountering Difficulties In Ċirkewwa
A 59-year-old man from Iklin is in serious condition after encountering difficulties while diving in Ċirkewwa earlier this morning.
At around 9am, emergency services were alerted after the diver was seen in distress and brought to shore by bystanders.
He was given immediate medical assistance and later taken by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital.
Magistrate Dr Ian Farrugia LL.D has been informed and appointed a magisterial inquiry.
Police investigations are ongoing.
