Independent MP Rosianne Cutajar has challenged Bernard Grech to declare whether all 13 PN MPs who work with the government go to work every day.

In Parliament, Cutajar asked Prime Minister Robert Abela for a list of every Opposition MP who works in the public sector.

The list shows that 13 PN MPs – namely David Agius, Graziella Attard Previ, Charles Azzopardi, Ivan Bartolo, Toni Bezzina, Albert Buttigieg, Ryan Callus, Ivan Castillo, Janice Chetcuti, Robert Cutajar, Graziella Galea, Justin Schembri, and Ian Vassallo – have some kind of job in the public sector.

“Can Bernard Grech guarantee us that all of these MPs go to work every day?” Cutajar said. “Thank you in advance.”

Cutajar is currently facing the heat over a National Audit Office report which heavily criticised the way she was appointed ITS consultant in 2019 and which cast doubt over the work she did during her eight-month tenure.

The PN has filed a parliamentary motion to demand that Cutajar return the money she received from this job, but the MP’s latest statement indicates she intends to fight fire with fire.

What do you make of Rosianne Cutajar’s statement?
