Kickboxer Brandon Borg scored two massive victories in the ring this weekend as he beat his British opponent and subsequently proposed to his girlfriend Bernice while still in the ring.

A powerful exponent of boxing and kickboxing in Malta, Borg proved his worth in this combat event by triumphing over British combatant Danny Warsfold during the ‘Gods of War’ fighting event.

“We did it! We won!! Against the British fighter! This is a momentous victory for me and a testament to the endless hours of practice and hard work that went into preparations for this match,” an exhilarated Borg wrote on his Facebook page.

He also highlighted his additional triumph, “In addition, I also had the joy of proposing to my dedicated and caring girlfriend, and am over the moon that she said yes!”

“Her support has been pivotal for my success in both my personal and professional life, and I cannot wait to share the rest of my life with her,” he continued.

There was even yet another, noble, victory on this portentous evening, “Moreover, I am also filled with immense gratitude towards everyone who helped in raising awareness for autism.”

“This cause is very close to my heart, and I am honoured to use my position to raise awareness for it.”
