Drivers Stuck In Traffic Jams Across Central Malta After Pembroke Roadwork Closures

Traffic has become an all-too-familiar and frustrating scenario and this morning was no exception as commuters faced heavy traffic in central Malta.

Due to current road works in Pembroke the two-lane road was reduced to just one, causing significant congestion in the southbound direction

As more people started making their way to their destinations, rush hour saw the streets transformed with long lines of slow-moving traffic.

People reported traffic in St Julian’s, Għargħur, Naxxar, Mosta and along the coast road.

This situation is a constant source of frustration for many and it highlights the need for better planning and alternatives when implementing road closures.
