Drugs Squad Raids Ħamrun Piazza And Rounds Up Five Men

Five men were arrested at around lunchtime today by the Drug Squad and Rapid Intervention Unit during a raid carried out in St Paul’s Square, Ħamrun. The men involved were aged between 19 and 37, and were found carrying drugs likely to be heroin and cannabis.

The men in question are being held by police for interrogation on the incident and inquiries related to possession and drug trafficking in that particular square.
