€5,000 In Less Than 48 Hours: Kaxxaturi’s Campaign To Take Party Stations To Court Steams Ahead

Lovin Malta’s show Kaxxaturi has managed to raise €5,000 in less than two days to mount a court case against Malta’s party-owned TV stations.

Donations kicked in soon after Sunday evening’s release of Kaxxaturi’s latest episode, which explained why TV stations One and Net go against the Constitution, the right to freedom of information, and the basic rules of fair competition.

The initial target of €3,500 to cover basic legal expenses for the case was pretty much surpassed in 24 hours.

All the money received through this campaign will go to fighting an exhaustive legal case in court, if necessary taking the matter up to the European courts.
