Young Englishman Dies After Horrific Xemxija Crash Involving Red Cross Ambulance
A young Englishman has died and six other people are injured after a horrific accident that took place at 1.20am this morning at Selmun Hill, Xemxija
The crash involved a Red Cross Ambulance and a Daihatsu Sirion which was carrying four English people aged between 20 and 29. The ambulance was being driven by a 55-year-old Italian man and was carrying four other people whose ages vary from 38 to 89.
One of the passengers of the Daihatsu was certified dead immediately while the others were taken to Mater Dei hospital. Six of those involved, including the 89-year-old woman are suffering grievous injuries.
At 7am the police were also informed of another fatal accident, this time in Aldo Moro Road, Marsa.
A 72-year-old man from Marsa was certified dead after he was hit by a Citroen Cactus that was being driven by a 37-year-old man from Żabbar.
