A Maltese fashion brand has launched a new clothing line dedicated to Ukraine, with 100% of the profits from the shirts going towards supporting humanitarian efforts in the wartorn country.

Videographer Luke Bedford, fresh from his stint in Los Angeles, USA, headed to Malta’s capital city Valletta to take to the streets to speak to people about his pro-Ukraine clothing line.

“There’s no better feeling than spreading a great message while helping those in need. New @foreverseeking_ T-shirts out now. 100% of proceeds will be donated to Ukraine (The Red Cross) The concept behind this drop is to donate while receiving a T-shirt in return,” Bedford said as he shared images of the shirt.

The shirt itself features a faded aesthetic, with a dark colourisation leading to an embossed ‘F*CK WAR’ in vertical on the back.

Speaking to Lovin Malta, Bedford said he had been racking his brain to find a way to show his support for global peace while tangibly being able to help victims of war in Ukraine.

Incredibly, while in Valletta, he runs into a number of men, women and children from Ukraine. In one moment, a woman explains that her husband is currently at war in Ukraine, momentarily shocking Bedford into silence before the pair share a hug with a little girl.

Maltese fashion brands often can use their platform to raise awareness on important topics; just recently, a Maltese fashion brand used a hateful expression as part of their new, positive line.
