A 35-year-old factory worker from Fgura suffered from grievous injuries earlier today when he was struck by a machine he was working on.

The incident happened at Kordin Industrial Estate at around 3pm.

The man was given medical assistance on site before being taken to Mater Dei hospital – where he was later certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
