Finnish Man Found Unconscious In Comino At Risk Of Dying

Police were informed today at 4pm of a swimmer in need of assistance near Blue Lagoon after a man had lost consciousness while at sea.

A preliminary investigations from the authorities on scene  resulted in finding a 27-year-old Finnish man had found himself in some difficulties while in the water.

First aid was administered to the man, after which the man was transported to the Gozo General Hospital where was sent for treatment following the confirmation of serious injury.

A police investigation is currently underway with Magistrate Dr. Paul Coppini assisting with the inquiry.
