Five People Hospitalised After Car And Motorcycle Overturn In Separate Incidents In Rabat
Five people ended up hospitalised yesterday after a car overturned and a motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle in two separate incidents in Rabat.
The first incident occurred at around 2.45pm along Triq Bir ir-Ruwa in Rabat, where a car overturned after a 60-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle.
In the vehicle, there were also two women, 56 and 64 years old respectively, and a 64-year-old man, all residents of Żejtun.
The second incident occurred at around 7.45pm along Triq il-Buqana, Rabat, after a 35-year-old Indian driver lost control of his motorcycle and fell off of it. Upon impact, the motorcycle ended up in the bike lane nearby.
A medical team transported all victims to Mater Dei Hospital where they received treatment for their injuries.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
