Lucas Micallef, the public relations officer of the hunting federation FKNK, will appear on Lovin Daily today to discuss the controversial Miżieb-Aħrax deal.
You can watch the live interview at 10am on Lovin Malta’s Facebook page.
Last week, the government signed over the management of the two public woodlands to the FKNK for the next three years.
The contract gives the FKNK rights over the management and upkeep of the two woodlands and restrict public access during specific times of day during the spring and autumn hunting seasons. The FKNK will also be obliged to set up picnic areas for the general public.
It has sparked outrage among thousands of people, who have insisted the land should be fully accessible to the public and who are angered at the way it was signed behind closed doors.
