Former ONE News Editor Thanks Metsola For Ukraine ‘Leadership’

Mangion published a video of Metsola telling a conference that while the EU will always be pro-peace and anti-war,”peace without freedom, dignity and justice is no peace at all”.
“A Ukraine that is not supported, that does not have the strength to resist, will not be in a position to find that elusive peace,” Metsola said.
Mangion, who now works as a translator at the European Commission, warned that Europe shouldn’t give in to Vladimir Putin’s territorial ambitions.
“Putin has shown us time and again that he cannot be trusted and that he only responds to strength,” he said.
Former ONE News editor Sandro Mangion praised European Parliament President Roberta Metsola for her “leadership” in the Ukraine wr and for standing in favour of “real peace”.
“For 20 years, he’s been attempting to resurrect the Russian empire by strangling neighbouring countries. We, the West, have been complicit, failing to break his cycle in 2008 and 2014 when he invaded Georgia and took the first bites off Ukraine.”
“It seems that we’re finally understanding the powerful and cautionary lesson of the 1938 Munich agreement with Hitler: giving in to territorial ambitions by untrustworthy dictators does not guarantee peace at all.”
“Trying to satisfy an aggressive power’s demands in the hope of resolving conflict often emboldens that power to make further demands. Weakness and appeasement from our side at this point would only invite further Russian aggression in the near future.”
