Four-Month Old Baby And Two Children Among Five Hospitalised After Naxxar Crash

A car crash in Naxxar led to five people – including a four-month old baby and two young children – being hospitalised.

The crash, which occurred on Telgħa t’Alla u Ommu hill in Naxxar at around 1.10pm yesterday, saw a Peugeot 107 driven by a 28-year-old woman from Għargħur collide with a Ford Fusion driven by a 67-year-old man from Sliema.

The baby was in the former vehicle, while a two-year-old girl, six-year-old boy and 62-year-old man was in the latter. 

Both vehicles suffered extensive damage to their frontal areas.

Everyone aside from the 67-year-old man was taken to Mater Dei hospital for medical treatment. 

Today, police confirmed that while one of the women had suffered grievous injuries, the children and baby only suffered slight injuries in this case.
