Four More Virus Patients Succumb To COVID-19, Death Toll Rises To 137

Four more COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health confirmed.

The first victim was a 75-year-old woman who was confirmed positive for the COVID-19 on 31st October. She passed away on 29th November in Mater Dei.

A 94-year-old man was the second victim. He was confirmed positive on 21st November and succumbed to COVID-19 yesterday at St. Vincent De Paule Residence.

The third case was a 90-year-old woman who tested positive on 13th November. She passed away yesterday at Mater Dei.

A 74-year-old man was the last virus victim. He was confirmed positive on 16th November and passed away last night at Mater Dei.

With four more deaths, the total coronavirus death toll in Malta rose to 137.

The Ministry of Health offered its condolences to the families affected an urged the public to keep following COVID-19 measures.
