Four People And A Dog Rescued After Boat Catches Fire Off Qawra Coast
Four people and a dog have reportedly been rescued after a boat caught fire off the coast of Qawra this afternoon.
Photos sent to Lovin Malta show a plume of smoke emerging from a boat near Qawra Point.
ONE News reported that four people and a dog jumped into the sea after it caught fire and that one of the people suffered leg burns.
The people and dog were all rescued, with Malta Red Cross volunteers on site to administer first aid and CPD officials called in to put out the blaze.
Police and medics were also called on site.
