Four People, Including One-Year-Old Girl, Hospitalised After Head-On Collision In Dingli

Four people have been taken to hospital following a head-on collision in a road between Dingli and Rabat.

A one-year-old girl was also involved in the car crash.

One woman was trapped inside the car as a result of the crash, which occurred around 12.45pm at Triq ir-Rabat, Dingli. The woman was released by members of the Civil Protection Department at around 1.10pm, and she was taken to hospital after being released.

The road has been completely closed as a result of this crash, with police telling members of the public to avoid the area and find alternative routes.

A Volkswagen and Ford van were involved in the crash. Two women and the girl were in the Volkswagen, with one of the woman, a 48-year-old, becoming trapped in the vehicle before being released.

The van was being driven by a man, who i reportedly slightly injured.

Three ambulances were called onto the scene following the accident.
