Four Workers Recovered From Construction Site Collapse In Kordin, Nature Of Injuries Unknown
Four workers have been recovered from underneath the rubble of the construction site collapse which happened in Kordin this morning.
The workers are currently being transported to Mater Dei Hospital for medical treatment for their injuries. It is unclear whether more workers are still trapped in the rubble.
The nature of their injuries is still unknown.
Police told Lovin Malta that the incident occurred at around 10am, with the site being located close to the Civil Protection Department’s base in Kordin.
Members of the CPD and Police are currently on site.
Drivers are also being advised to avoid the area, with the Malta Traffic Updates App issuing a warning.
