A new psychological support service for journalists in Malta has been launched, and it’s completely free of charge.

SOS Malta, with the support of the Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation, has launched a new initiative to offer free psychological support for journalists through kellmni.com.

Seven psychologists have been vetted and trained by media experts for the specific kind of support journalists need. There is no charge for the service and is also available for group sessions and newsrooms.

The idea, according to the Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation came to fruition after a seminar hosted by rule of law NGO  Repubblika, on free speech and the protection of journalists, which was organised with the support of the US Embassy in Malta.

Journalists can get in touch, anonymously or not, at kellimni.com to receive mental health support.
