From Castille To Mile End: Jason Azzopardi Shouts Out Tomorrow’s ‘Victory Carcade’ Following Ferris Win
Lawyer Jason Azzopardi has shared news of a carcade to celebrate a tribunal win by former inspector Jonathan Ferris after he was awarded €20,000 for being unjustly dismissed from his managerial role within the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIAU).
“As a show of thanks to Providence for the historic win that Jonathan Ferris had in court against this corrupt group, tomorrow morning his friends will be organising a carcade that will leave from the Labour Każin in Paola at 10am,” Azzopardi said.
“We will be passing from in front of the FIAU, then in front of the FCID, then afterwards in front of the office of Edward Scicluna, we’ll pass by Castille and end in Ħamrun in Mile End Street in front of the General Headquarters of the Maltese Mafia,” Azzopardi continued, referring the Labour Headquarters in Ħamrun.
Azzopardi, a former PN MP, spoke following an industrial tribunal’s decision that found that Ferris had been dismissed unfairly from his role with the FIAU that he took on back in 2016, something Ferris himself has maintained for years.
However, the tribunal decision had finally vindicated the former officer – and it seems his friends are ready to celebrate.
Will you be joining the carcade?
