Fundraiser For Nepalese Courier Killed In Malta Hits €12,775

A fundraiser launched by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has now raised €12,775 to help repatriate the body of Khim Bahadur Pun, a 42-year-old Nepalese food courier killed in a hit-and-run in Birkirkara.
Pun, a father of three who had been living in Malta for more than three years, was fatally injured when a Maserati collided with his motorcycle in the early hours of Sunday before striking other vehicles.
The 17-year-old driver and passengers fled the scene but were later arrested.
NRNA president Rems Khanal thanked the Maltese public and the Nepalese community for their generosity.
The funds will go toward funeral and repatriation costs, with additional assistance provided by Pun’s employer.
