G7 And Sound Salon Announce All Events Will Be Halted As ‘Safety Is Our Priority’
Two of the biggest event promoters on the island have announced the suspension of events for the time being.
G7 and Sound Salon have issued a joint statement reiterating that “safety is our priority”, bidding fans to stay safe until they meet again.
“After monitoring the current situation and further consideration, we feel that the right thing to do is stop all our upcoming events,” the companies said.
“We will continue to monitor the situation closely and decide on a week by week basis if and when to continue doing our events,” they confirmed.
The status comes after a sudden spike in cases in recent days.
Just yesterday, at least 65 rescued migrants were found to be positive for COVID-19. Alongside this, a number of individuals were found to be positive for the virus after attending a Hotel Takeover.
