Għaxaq Motorcyclist Hospitalised After Traffic Collision

A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital following a traffic collision in Għaxaq last night.

Police were called to the crash site in Dawret Ħal Għaxaq at around 5.30pm yesterday evening after a car and motorcycle collided in the area.

The motorcycle, a Keeway City Blade, was being driven by a 32-year-old Indian national who lives in Għaxaq, while the car, a Peugeot 206, was being driven by a 39-year-old from Birżebbuġa.

The motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance where he was certified to have grievous injuries.

Police investigations into the incident continue.
