A motorcyclist has been left in critical condition after colliding with another motor vehicle early this morning.

The crash took place Triq L-Imġarr in Għajnsielem at 5:45 am, between a Honda MD22 motorcycle and a  Renault Megane driven by 67-year-old resident in the area.

The motorcyclist is a 42-year-old resident from Xagħra.

The man was taken immediately to the Gozo General Hospital.

Investigatons are on-going.
