‘Guards’ Blocking Journalists’ Exit From Castille ‘Absolutely Not’ Party Officials, Labour CEO Says

Men blocking journalists from exiting Castille earlier today are ‘absolutely not’  Labour Party officials, according to the party’s CEO Randolph Debattista.

Journalists were locked in a room in Castille last night by a group of men posing as security guards and blocking the door. The incident happened after Prime Minister Joseph Muscat gave a press conference to the media at 3 am in which he confirmed that Cabinet had requested murder suspect Yorgen Fenech’s request for a pardon.

Journalists had questioned who these individuals were, with some asking them flat out whether they work for the Malta Security Services.

However, the men have now been identified as private individuals with sympathies towards the Labour Party.

Having confirmed that they are not Labour officials, it begs the question of how these men managed to get access into Castile in the first place?
