Gżira mayor Conrad Borg Manché has called out the developer of the 14 East Tower, over an aggressive (and very confusing) acronym.

After almost two weeks trying to interpret ‘UFPOSUFDILO’, Borg Manché took to Facebook to say he finally decoded it to mean: “You Fucking Piece Of Shit U Foxx Dik Il-Liba Ommok”. (If you don’t understand Maltese, that last bit is a common insult to one’s mother.)

You might think the acronym is a bi-linguistic masterpiece, apart from the fact that it should be YFPOSUFDILO.

But Borg Manché wasn’t having any of it.

He felt particularly insulted by the reference to his dead mother who he said taught him everything he knows about doing the right thing and putting a stop to the abuse of others.

Borg Manché asked whether developer Jean Borg would continue to ignore the orders being given to him by the Planning Authority about a garbage room he was told to remove, among other things. A month later, action has not been taken.

“You expect something like this from someone who made money his god, succumbed to animalistic greed and cares about nothing else, not even the neighbours who put up with him for four years. I hope the authorities in this country take action so this arrogance and disrespect is ended once and for all and we start having some order and respect in this country,” Borg Manché said.
