One woman has died and two others have been injured in an incident involving a coach in Ħal Far.

The woman is believed to have lost her life followed an incident where a coach struck a number of elderly people, ONE News reported, coming out from a nearby event held in Villa Blanche.

Civil Protection officers are currently undertaking a “complex operation” following the incident.

The woman was certified dead on scene.

The two other people, also reportedly elderly, are have been taken to Mater Dei for treatment for their injuries and shock.
