Harvey, Two-Year-Old With Leukaemia, Finds Support From Buġibba Bar In Generous Charity Event
A bar in Buġibba has organised a generous event in an effort to raise donations for a two-year-old child with Leukaemia.
Harvey was diagnosed with Leukaemia last August and is currently on a three-year chemotherapy plan.
“My husband hasn’t left Harvey’s side. He’s been incredibly strong,” his mother told Lovin Malta.
Smudge’s The Falcon Bar spoke to Lovin Malta and expressed the reason behind such a heart-warming gesture.
“I just want to make them smile. Whatever it takes. Even just for a moment so they can forget this terrible thing.”
The event, which will take place on 18th February, will have various performers including singers, magicians, and comedy hypnosis.
Malta’s beloved Max Borg, who scored a golden buzzer in Britain’s Got Talent in 2019 and competed at The Voice Kids Malta this year, will also be performing at the event.
Harvey is expected to be an inpatient for a couple of months again soon.
Harvey’s mother expressed to Lovin Malta the infinite gratitude she has towards every ounce of help and towards the bar.
“All of this fundraising was totally unexpected. We are extremely grateful for all of the support we are receiving.”
If one would like more information regarding the event, it can be found here.
If you want to donate in order to help Harvey, you can kindly do that through Revolut on +356 79278547 or at the bar during the event.
Harvey will be turning three years old on 17th of January.
Lovin Malta wishes Harvey an amazing birthday and the best of luck on his journey!
