The Qala community have sent their tributes to a beloved local woman whose passion for Maltese tradition shined brightly throughout her life upon her death.

“You left us Frances! How we wish this news never arrived,” the Menhir Qala Folk Group, which Frances was a part of, said.

Sharing photos of her outfits and performances throughout the year, they remembered the dancing, singing and laughing they enjoyed together.

“You are now in a better place, free from all pain.”

They thanked her for the service she gave in preserving Maltese traditions.

“Now, rest in peace Frances. Until we meet again up there to dance another dance together.”
