Ian Borg Meets US Secretary Of State Marco Rubio

Malta’s Foreign Affairs Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Rome yesterday.

“A pleasant evening with US Secretary Rubio, where we discussed the excellent relations between Malta and the United States,” Borg said.

“We look forward to strengthening our cooperation in the years ahead.”

Rubio holds one of the top internal positions in the US administration, and has been touted by US President Donald Trump as a potential successor.
