El Mushraty, aka l-Lilu King, was arrested by police over the last few hours following an operation involving a number of raids and searches on his properties across Malta.

The man, known for his striking look and opulent life, ran a number of establishments in Paceville, with his social media account regularly featuring highlights from his life.

ONE News revealed that he had been arrested this afternoon following months of investigations by the police.

While the exact reason behind the arrest are not yet public, a number of things have been alleged by El Mushraty online, including detailing his connections to armed groups and smuggling networks in Tripoli.
