Inspirational Guy Cycling From Norway To Malta To Raise Funds For Cancer Research Finally Arrives On Island
Darren Davis has taken the gruelling challenge of travelling thousands of miles by bicycle in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. He started out his journey in Nordkapp, North Cape in Norway. This is the northernmost point in Europe, and he’s decided to go all the way down to Malta, some 4,000 miles away.
The whole thing has taken him 55 days to complete, but he’s finally made it!
Finally arrived at Honningsvag
He passed through Finland, Sweden, Germany and Austria and is currently in Italy, meaning that his goal will soon be reached.
His journey apart from being probably the most tiring thing anyone has ever done, came with a couple of bumps along the way. Darren lost his bike as he was flying from Gatwick to Oslo, however he was later reunited with his trusted companion.

There were days when it was too tough to handle
Update from today. I’m now in Thannhausen ???????? Pleased to be done for the day. The biggest challenge I’ve had to deal with was the number of aggressive/abusive motorists. Time now for rest, recovery and fuel. Enjoy the rest of your day ???? ????????????♂️????♂️????♂️????♂️???????? pic.twitter.com/Sm91Ui9dXD

Darren kept a positive spirit throughout his voyage
Four years ago I said I’d love to cycle to Lake Garda. Mission accomplished???? Seems a little strange not peddling, but will take time to reflect on my journey and the huge amount of support I’ve had. I’m blessed and am thankful and appreciate each and every donation. ????❤️???? pic.twitter.com/YN9Xcle17K

There were days when he felt like giving up
Being brutally honest, I thought today was my last day. I felt absolutely broken both physically & mentally. The heat has been relentless all day with me trying to cycle from shade to shade to survive. I wavered on numerous occasions but still fought on. #heretofightanotherday ????
