It Can Only Get Better: This Week’s Weather In Malta Isn’t As Bad As Today’s

Strong winds, isolate showers and even thunder might feature all throughout today in what has proven to be another uncharacteristic start to a week in Malta’s spring, but it looks like things might improve soon enough.

With highs of 16°C and northwesterly winds of Force 6, today is already enough of a mixed bag without the forecasted rain and thunder. But as the week progresses, highs will start going up, until they reach 19°C on the relatively less rainy Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thursday sees isolated showers return as the lows descend to 12°C, and the wind will also start to pick up, from Force 2 and 3 in the midweek to Force 4 just before the weekend.

Friday is definitely confusing; while still relatively warm at highs of 17°C and lows of 12°C, the wind wil keep climbing, hitting Force 5 and 6 just in time for a more than breezy end of the week.
