It Won’t Be Long Before I Invite Joseph Muscat Back On ONE, Emanuel Cuschieri Promises
Emanuel Cuschieri said it won’t be long before he invites former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat back on his ONE Radio programme.
Muscat will tonight be interviewed on Cuschieri’s Smash TV show Linja Diretta, a political show he used to host on ONE Radio before it was cancelled by the PL’s media house last year.
According to a report by MaltaToday, Cuschieri had clashed with Robert Abela over his fiery defence of Muscat on his show.
Cuschieri returned to ONE Radio in April, while keeping his Smash TV show. Following a Lovin Malta article, Cuschieri said he intends to invite Muscat to his ONE programme too.
“I assure you that I never had a problem inviting Joseph Muscat to my programme on ONE Radio, because the PL’s station gives space to everyone, including those like Dr Muscat who turned the PL into a victorious party,” he said. “It won’t be long before I invite Dr Muscat to a programme on ONE Radio too.”
In recent years, ONE has often opted not to give Muscat prominence, one of the most notable moments being when it refused to discuss an interview he gave the Times on its weekly newspaper analysis show.
