Gabriele La Terra, the Italian teen who returned a wallet containing €5,000 while on a holiday in Malta, was offered a free trip and course by Clubclass English Language School Malta.

The 18-year-old from Catania won everyone’s hearts with his selfless gesture when he found a wallet in Paceville and turned it in to St. Julian’s Police Station back in August.

Now, Gabriele has been offered a two-week course and accommodation for himself and a friend here in Malta as a thank-you for his honesty and kindness.

Gabriele and his friends also met up with the man who was fortunate to get his wallet back, and they had a drink together.

This noble gesture made headlines across multiple news portals in Sicily as well.

“The school’s offer gave me immense pleasure,” Gabriele told Lovin Malta of the whole experience.

“I will certainly bring with me one of the boys who was with me when I found the wallet,” continued Gabriele, as he graciously accepted the offer.
