As his final farewell began, hundreds of supporters, family, and friends stood in tribute to Jake’s enduring spirit and the profound impact he had on those around him.
The solemn moment was marked by an outpouring of emotion as the crowd clapped in respect and admiration for Jake.
The white casket was adorned with the words, “Thank you Ma, Thank you Dad,” the last words Jake spoke to his parents, along with a photo of their dog.

In a touching moment, an Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) dog saluted to the young animal lover who captured the hearts of many.
The AFM dog stood tall together with its handler and gave a salute, creating an emotional scene as the corteo approached the church.

At the church’s entrance, a poster with photos of Jake throughout the years, alongside a memorial book where attendees could leave personal messages.
A collection box was also placed nearby, with donations set to support animal welfare—a cause close to Jake’s heart.

As Jake’s final celebration came to a close, the young boy was once again met with heartfelt applause as his casket was carried out of the church.
The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM), along with their canine companion, offered a final salute while hundreds of mourners clapped in honour of the boy who had touched so many lives.
In attendance were Prime Minister Robert Abela, members of parliament, and former President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca. Minister Owen Bonnici, along with Jake’s father Josie, helped carry the casket, offering comfort to Josie as Jake was placed in the hearse.

Jake’s parents, Maruska and Josie, were visibly emotional, surrounded by loved ones offering hugs and support. They were deeply moved by the overwhelming turnout and the love so many had for Jake.
Following the mass, a reception with music was held outside the church, bringing everyone together to celebrate Jake’s life.
