Author and journalist James Aaron Ellul has been appointed as the Nationalist Party’s new Communications Director.

Ellul, the author of “Il-Kelma ta’ Eddie Fenech Adami’ and a former NET journalist, graduated in Maltese Language studies from the University of Malta as well as publishing a study on the Electoral System in Malta in 2022.

He is also the minority leader in the Floriana local council.

Ellul was appointed last following the recommendation by a PN leadership committee. He takes over from his predecessor Simon Vella Gregory.

PN Leader Bernard Grech congratulated Ellul on his new role, which comes into effect 2nd May.

Ellul is described as being passionate about the Maltese culture and identity, history, reading as well as football.
