Jason Azzopardi Says Two More Magisterial Inquiries ‘Nearing Conclusion’

Malta’s political class is reeling from the fallout of the Vitals magisterial inquiry, and Jason Azzopardi has now said that two more critical inquiries are nearing conclusion.
“The PL parliamentary group is set to convene today,” the Repubblika lawyer and former PN MP said. “Let me place another item on your agenda to confuse you further.”
“Two other pending magisterial inquiries, one about the Panama Papers and the other about 17 Black and ElectroGas, are nearing conclusion. How lovely! Two more masterpieces of yours. You are a criminal organisation in your structural essence.”
The two inquiries, requested by Repubblika, former PN leader Simon Busuttil and PN MEP David Casa, have been ongoing since 2019, just like the recently-concluded Vitals one.
