Jason Azzopardi Warns Of Security Breach At Identita’s Msida Offices
Jason Azzopardi has warned that a security breach occurred at the Msida offices of Identità earlier this morning.
Azzopardi said that Magistrate Antoine Agius Bonnici, who is spearheading an inquiry into an alleged ID card racket, yesterday ordered the archives of the Expats Division to be sealed off.
“However, this morning at 5am, the alarm went off in Identità’s IT server room… there was a security breach,” he said.
“Minister Byron Camilleri, who entered the offices at 5am to cover up their and your tracks?”
Azzopardi, the lawyer and former PN MP who blew the lid off this alleged racket, warned that third-country nationals were illicitly sold Maltese ID cards for €2,000 to €8,000, generating €60-€70 million for people involved.
Lovin Malta discussed this racket at length with Azzopardi in an interview that will be published on Sunday.
