Joseph Muscat Celebrates Father’s Day With Post-Workout Cooking

While it is common for dads to get treated on Father’s Day, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat broke the mould today and decided instead to treat his family to some homemade pizza.

And, judging by a photo he uploaded on Instagram, Muscat headed straight to the kitchen right after a workout session, still in his gym gear. His twin daughters Etoile and Soleil seemed delighted as they posed for their picture, while their new dog Ħabiba must have been wondering whether one of her owners would be kind enough to drop her a slice.

“Best wishes to all fathers, Happy Father’s Day!” Muscat tweeted.

Meanwhile, Opposition leader Adrian Delia offered a more reflective message as he posted a Facebook picture of himself and his large family in the woods.

“In my life, there are many things I’ve managed to achieve, but the greatest achievement is my children and my family,” Delia said. “It’s not always easy to be a good father and a good husband and although I do my best, my public life takes a lot of my time away from my family. I wish that everyone finds the right balance in their lives. Wishing all dads, parents and guardians who act as fathers, a Happy Father’s Day.”
