Cuschieri is also a ONE Radio host whose show had been taken off air for around ten months, only from the station to bring him back to its schedule last April.*

He said that while tomorrow’s interview with Muscat will be on Smash, he intends to invite Muscat to his ONE Radio programme in the future too.

“There is space for everyone on the PL TV station, including those like Dr Muscat who turned the PL into a victorious party,” he said.

With a damning Appeals Court judgement finding collusion between his government and Vitals over a hospital deal and with a magisterial inquiry into the concession still ongoing, Muscat might use this occasion to speak in detail about his side of the story.

Repubblika president Robert Aquilina said Muscat “doesn’t have the courage to face a journalist and only feels safe speaking to his Manuel Cuschieri”.

“Mr Muscat, you can clean it as much as you like but you won’t remove the stain.”
