Just In Time For His Mum’s Birthday, Bjorn Formosa’s Heading Home After Nearly Two Weeks In Hospital

Bjorn Formosa was admitted to hospital just under two weeks ago, with doctors fearing the worst and gearing him up for a very risky surgery. While he hasn’t been given the all-clear from doctors just yet, he is heading home and leaving the hospital for the time being as his operation has been deferred.

He will be back in two weeks’ time, but the operation is too dangerous to perform at this moment in time.

His mother must have been over the moon for this to have happened on the day of her birthday, as announced by Bjorn shortly after he told us all he’d be out of Mater Dei by the end of today.

In hopes of raising enough funds to build a second Dar Bjorn centre, Xarabank will be airing a special fundraiser on October 25th and will pool donations together with the €53k raised at last weekend’s Versatile & Friends For ALS event.

Those who wish to donate beforehand can text the word ‘Donate’ to 50618936 (€6.99) or alternatively, Revolut a transfer to +35679209420.
