Karmenu Fino Identified As Decomposed Male Body Found In Birżebbuġa
Karmenu Fino has been identified as the decomposed male body found in Birżebbuġa on 16th July 2022.
83-year-old Karmenu Fino went missing on 28th June from the St Vincent de Paul care facility.
Investigators had been waiting for the final result of DNA tests to identify the body, which was found in a field along Triq Għar Dalam, for a while given the advanced state of decomposition.
Forensic analysis has known confirmed that the body belonged to Fino.
From the autopsy that had been carried out, it emerged that there was no involvement of third parties and that the death is not of a suspicious nature.
