‘Keep Him In Your Prayers:’ Malta’s Politicians Unite As Silvio Parnis Struggles With Health Issues
As it was announced that former MP Silvio Parnis found himself in a precarious health situation, hundreds of tributes and prayers from all sides of the political spectrum as well as from the general public began to pour in online.
During his time as a Former Parliamentary Secretary for Active Ageing and Persons with Disability, Parnis seems to have found common ground in Malta’s fragmented political landscape, with many reaching out across the divide to offer courage and solidarity.
1. Former leader of the opposition Adrian Delia said politics never separated them and that in moments like this he will only find “prayers and solidarity”.
