Keith Demicoli: Newbie Marathoner And Now Guinness World Record Holder
Maltese personality Keith Demicoli adds another bow to his quiver as he is now a Guinness World Record holder following his participation in the London Marathon.
“Guinness world record holder. (Not for fastest time…but for finishing with the largest crowd of sweaty legends in marathon history),” said Demicoli as he took to his Instagram stories. “@londonmarathon25’ made history with 56,640 finishers.”

The London Marathon took place on Sunday 27th April and Demicoli was running for Hospice UK and described the experience as “One of the toughest, most emotional and paradoxically unforgettable days of my life.”
Each participant received a Guinness World Record certificate and medal with many of the participants, like our Keith Demicoli, taking to their socials and TCS London Marathon 2025 Facebook group to celebrate the marathon’s achievement.
