Kristina Zivanovic’s Funeral Happening Tomorrow In St Paul’s Bay
Kristina Zivanovic’s final farewell is happening tomorrow at the Madonna tal-Karmnu chapel in St Paul’s Bay.
23-year-old Kristina tragically lost her life after being run over by a bus in Birkirkara while she was on her way home from work, shocking many across the nation.
Kristina’s father announced the funeral on social media, appealing for people to wear the brightest of colours for the farewell, resembling her bright smile.
“Our beloved Kristina, who left us so early, but left us so much. Only colours as bright as her smile please,” Strahinja Rajkovic wrote.
A fundraiser for the repatriation of Kristina Zivanovic’s body and legal expenses was launched over the weekend, but since then the family has decided to bury Kristina in Malta.
A magisterial inquiry has been opened and a police investigation is currently ongoing into what is the 17th road death of the year.
